Revenue and costs commercial radio channels

Information about revenue and costs for the radio companies P4 and Radio Norge (Bauer Media) is based upon the companies' annual reports.

From 2011 onwards the Radio Norge data are no longer directly comparable with earlier data. In 2011 Radio Norge was integrated in SBS Radio Norge, which also includes some local radio stations. In 2015 SBS Radio Norge was sold to Bauer Media which closed down the local radio channels from 2017. Instead Bauer Media has launched several national DAB-channels.

P4 was launched in September 1993, as the only nationwide commercial radio channel in Norway. The subsidiary P5 is not included in P4's annual accounts.

Kanal 24 was launched January 1, 2004. The channel changed name to Radio Norge in spring 2008, when it was bought by SBS Radio Norge.
