Statistics Norway has been conducting annual surveys of media use since 1991 (with the exception of 1993). The surveys are financed mainly by the Ministry of Culture. The objective is to map the Norwegian population's use of different mass media.
Below you can find results concerning regular (linear) and online TV viewing the average day from 2016 onwards. Online TV viewing includes streaming of live TV only. The data are presented as share of viewers in per cent and can be broken down by sex, age and education.
